My wise grandmother always used to tell us you only have one name so take care of it. I know, at first it confused us grandchildren too. Only as I entered adulthood did I really begin to understand what she was saying. I wish she were alive today so I could thank her for those words of wisdom. Upon hearing about his passing on Friday, Facebook was flooded with posts about the kind of man he was. Not a single negative word was said. This is exactly what my grandmother meant. Your name is tied to your character and the way your living impacts others. Just the mention of his name, triggers happy memories for all. Memories that will live on in future generations.
